Bimini Tops & Bimini Boat Tops

Top of the line Acrylic fabric stands up well to harsh temperature conditions and feels and look terrific.  Vinyl fabric is the most popular type as it is water proof and it is easy to clean and offers many different qualities.

Selecting the right bimini boat top is a matter of a size.

Width is the most critical dimension.  It is important to measure the distance in a straight line between the points where you will mount your hinges.

Bimini Top lengths come in 4', 6', 8' and 10' lengths.  Typically, bimini top will center on the mounting point and provide shade half the distance in front and half the distance in back of that point. The most recommended sizes are:

8' and 10':  They are typically used for larger boats, Pontoon boats and Deck boats
6' lengths are the most common for ski and fishing boats

Height will provide necessary headroom; therefore bimini tops need to be tall enough to fit the proportions of the boat.  The shorter bimini will provide more shade.

30"-36" bimini tops typically fit ski and high performance boats
36"- 48" fit runabouts and fishing boats
48"-60" fit pontoons, deck boats and boats with center consoles

The actual clearance will be the combined distance from your boat's deck to the mounting point, and from the mounting point to the top of the bimini.
